FBI Certificate of Appreciation.png

Pulse Certificate

On June 12, 2016, Orlando became the site of what was at the time, the worst mass shooting in American history. Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where I served as head of media relations and public affairs, is located two blocks from the nightclub site. As the only level one trauma center in the area, ORMC was intimately involved in treating the injured, assisting friends, family members and employees and communicating information about this monumental disaster and the hospital's response to it to audiences around the globe. The FBI honored numerous individuals, including me, with this certificate for helping the bureau during its investigation.

Comprehensive Crisis Plan

An effective emergency communication plan doesn't sit on a shelf collecting dust, it works for you. This is an example of the comprehensive plan I helped develop which was extremely valuable during our response to Pulse.
